Dementia Action Groups Inc. is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation established to support the development of dementia-friendly communities across Australia.

Our model is unique.

Rather than operating from a single location, we support the creation of local Dementia Action Groups that respond to the needs of their own communities while sharing resources, knowledge, training, and governance through the broader organisation.

Each local group is encouraged to build strong partnerships with councils, health services, businesses, schools, community organisations, and people with lived experience to create lasting local change.

Together, these groups form a growing national network committed to improving the lives of people living with dementia, their families, and carers.
